I personally find it very interesting. We are talking about a \"classical\" book.\n\nWho is talking of a novel? A novel is not Islamic book. So we are comparing it to a non-religious book. A book from the time of the Prophet Muhammad can be called Islamic book as it can be related to the practice of Islam. A book that has nothing to do with the practice of Islam can not be called Islamic book.\n\nto say that this book is the worst is a pretty absurd idea. in its place and time was a book of this nature. yes, its existence is probably the worst example of such a thing.\n\nall this conversation is also irrelevant, because this book is not a part of the standard curriculum of islamic education. this book is not a book that i would tell my son he should read, even if it would not be a complete mess.\n\nif anybody wrote this book, there was a reason for that.\n\nif i were to read or re-read this book, i would be reading it as a stranger, and i would want to learn as much as i could about the the life of the Prophet of Islam. but if i were a muslim, i wouldn't take this book and read it as anything other than entertainment. it is not sacred to me at all. and most likely, most of my muslim friends feel the same way.\n\nI want an answer to my question...well i found the answer but I want to clarify.
