Developer Data is not real consumer data; it is curated sample input designed to return meaningful responses from each service.\n\nWhen you are ready to integrate with your own data, simply replace the request body values with your own inputs.\n\n## Getting Started\n\n### 1. Set Up Your Environment\n\nBefore making requests, configure a Postman environment with your Fenris-provided credentials:\n\n1. In Postman, click the **+** button in the left sidebar and select **Environment** from the dropdown menu.\n2. Give your new environment a name (e.g., \"Fenris API\").\n3. Add the following variables — set `client_secret` to type **Secret** to mask the value in the Postman UI and prevent it from being shared in exports:\n\n   | Variable | Type | Value |\n   |---|---|---|\n   | `client_id` | Default | Your Fenris Client ID |\n   | `client_secret` | **Secret** | Your Fenris Client Secret |\n\n4. Click **Save**.\n5. Select your new environment from the environment dropdown in the top-right corner of Postman.\n\n### 2. Fire a Request\n\nOnce your environment is active, you're ready to go. This collection includes a pre-request script that handles authentication automatically — before each request, the script checks whether a valid token exists and fetches a new one if it is missing or expired. You do not need to run the **Get Bearer Token** request manually.\n\n## How Variables Work\n\nPostman uses double-curly-brace syntax (e.g., `{{client_id}}`) as placeholders in requests. When a request is sent, Postman replaces these placeholders with the actual values from your environment or the collection.\n\nVariables are resolved in this order of precedence: **environment → collection**. This means values you set in your environment always win over the defaults stored in the collection.\n\nThis collection uses two kinds of variables:\n\n**Variables you provide (in your environment):**\n\n| Variable | Description |\n|---|---|\n| `client_id` | Your Fenris Client ID |\n| `client_secret` | Your Fenris Client Secret |\n\n**Variables managed automatically by the pre-request script:**\n\n| Variable | Description |\n|---|---|\n| `current_access_token` | The active bearer token, fetched and refreshed automatically |\n| `access_token_expiry` | The expiry timestamp of the current token — the script uses this to decide when to fetch a new one |\n\nYou never need to set or update the managed variables manually — the script handles them for you each time
