A validation job is created and once it is done, you are able to read the validation error messages if any.\n\nTo create a validation, you need:\n\n- a file\n    \n- a set of rules\n    \n\nYou then need to wait until the validation is proceed. It has one of the following statuses:\n\n- `new`: the validation was just created\n    \n- `enqueued`: the validation is waiting to be processed\n    \n- `running`: the validation is being processed\n    \n- `done`: the validation is finished\n    \n\nOnce the validation is done, it has one the following user statuses:\n\n- `pending`: the validation is still running\n    \n- `successful`: the file is valid\n    \n- `warning`: the file is valid, but there are some warnings\n    \n- `failed`: the file is invalid\n    \n\nIf the validation has failed or have some warning, you can get the list of messages.\n\n## Typical scenario\n\nFirst, you need to create a validation to check a GTFS or NeTEx file. If the request is successful, you will receive a id that will identify your validation for the rest of the process. Next, you will need to make another request to periodically check the status of the validation until that validation is done. Now, you can check if it is successful or not. If it is not succesfull, you may retrieve warning or error messages via a final request.\n\n## API Access\n\nThis API is reserved for users of Chouette Valid SaaS platform and **requires an account token**.
