If the opening of an email is detected from the time the Registered Receipt® email is generated and up to 30 days, the sender will receive an Open Receipt.\n    \n\n##### SideNote®\n\n- Maximum Message Character Length: 512 characters including spaces\n    \n- SideNote® content is not recorded within the Registered Receipt® email, sent item, or usage reports\n    \n\nFor further details, refer to the RPost® Standard Service Level Agreement: [https://rpost.com/legal-notices/service-level-agreement](https://rpost.com/legal-notices/service-level-agreement)\n\n## Getting Started\n\n#### Prerequisites\n\nThe following items are required before starting to use the RMail® API:\n\n- An active RMail® Account\n    \n\n#### Authentication\n\nRMail® API uses an Access_Token-based authentication, meaning that a unique hash named AuthToken needs to be sent as part of the headers in every one of your subsequent requests.\n\nTo get an access token, you need to send an HTTP POST request to the following URI:\n\n- {{base_url}}/token\n    \n\nProviding your RMail® user credentials along with a unique Client ID assigned to the integration. In return, you will receive an AuthToken.
