Pricing

The Langa API is available to all customers for up to 100 minutes of free transcription. After that, you can contact us to get a quote for your specific needs. The pricing is $0.02 per minute of audio.

You can transcribe either single or dual channel audio files.
It is important to note that the cost of transcribing a minute of dual channel audio is twice as much as transcribing single channel audio.

Description

Transcribes the recording passed in recording_url asynchronously and returns the ID of the transcription object created transcription_id.

Callbacks

When the transcription completes, a callback HTTP request will be sent to the user's specified callback_url. The callback method is always POST.

Validating Callbacks

If you want to validate callback requests received by your application, you can pass a body parameter called callback_header, and Langa will pass back the value of this parameter in an HTTP header called x-langa-signature.

Transcription Format

The results part of the callback is a JSON object contains the transcription of the audio file.

Langa splits the transcription into two if the audio file was dual channel. And for each channel, Langa further splits the transcription into multiple chunks. Chunks are decided based on voice activity detection.

The structure of the results object has first the index of the channel. And each channel contains in it a list of lists, where each inner list is a standalone transcription chunk along with the timestamps of the chunk.

Returns an object that contains the state and details of a specific transcription.
