If I change it to:\nfloat metric = dot(psi, vec3(0.0));\nfloat U = metricmetric;\nreturn U;
\n
It works just fine, but I'd like to use a square law instead of a power law.  (Edit:  Not that it matters, but the psii here is essentially a unity vector pointing in the direction of psi).\nJust in case anyone is interested, I ended up implementing a basic metadynamics-like code using a kernel, but it was pretty tedious.  Here is the core kernel code (again, it is modified from a code I found, but I changed the exponent to 1.5):\ntemplate\nfloat voronoi(vec3 p, vec3 a, vec3 b, vec3 s, int i) {\n    vec3 p_prime = a-p;\n        vec3 p_diff = p-s;
\n

        float Q_ab = length(p_\n 7582aa13b2\n (NOTE: I only update the TALKING TIMES TABLE once a year, so if you don’t find it to be current, contact us immediately!) Nice graphics and sounds – perfectly suited for its purpose.
