In the index everything is ok because solr matchs products by short_description, but I want to insert into index description only if there is no short_description and perform like search based on short_description, or full text search. \nAny ideas?

There are a number of ways to do this:

\n

If you want to index all fields and fuzzy searching:\nYou can do two separate searches, one on short_description, and one on long_description.

\n

(For fuzzy searching)\ncreate a field name fuzzy_description that contains the concatenated values of short_description and long_description.

create a field name fulltext_description that contains all three fields, and then add a fulltext query to this field

\n

An alternate would be to use multi-fields, one multi-field containing short_description and one multi-field containing long_description, and then add a fulltext query.

This is all described in the Solr documentation.\nIf you want to index short_description and long_description but not fuzzy searching, you can use multipleSolrQuery to combine the two queries, as in:
