Access Permissions

The alternative method to make the executable to work is to run it from a folder that you make your own.

For example, if you had a very powerful computer, you could create a folder on C and in this folder, you would have a folder called administrator:

Then, you could drag the executable file into this folder.

But that is overkill for a Windows 10 computer, which is why I suggest the Run As Administrator option first.

Once the executable is running, go back to the Downloads folder of Windows and then back to this folder of your own:

If everything has worked, then you should have a new folder with the name of \"administrator\" and then inside of this folder, there will be your file executable.

\n

I wanted to add this because it is something that new Windows 10 users may not be aware of.

\n

You should consider this, and while they are not a security issue, it could be an annoyance depending on your requirements.

It is one thing if you do not care that your download folder is shared among all users.

\n
