\nI was thinking of doing this by setting up some action names in a plugin and then creating a Plugin.PluginNameController which would simply have an index method which takes a parametrized action/value pair and then proceed to use that in the plugin.\nThe plugin will then take this information and then call another model to get the action and value, put that back in the plugin, and call a method on that model that iterates over all actions and returns the values for those actions.\nThen, when you call the action in the plugin, it would look something like:\n@action = Plugin.plugin_name.get_action_for(:name => 'action1')\n@value = @action.get_value(:value)
\nI think there might be a better way to do this, but this is what I came up with. Is this overkill? I'd like the actions to be independent of the plugin itself and have them listable in the PluginNameController.
