Turning the Encoding into Bittorrent

\n

Until recently, there was little demand for bittorrent encoded video files. If they existed at all, they usually ended up being encoded with a lossy compression technique that resulted in a file that was smaller than the original compressed file, but not by much. The encoding process results in lossy compression (loss of video quality) and to avoid confusion and loss of space when dealing with large numbers of files, the new availability of bittorrent encoded video files is the first time in history that a video file format will be delivered in a format designed to easily transfer large numbers of files in a unified file format.\nThe FlavaFold format was designed to work on common bittorrent files, and it has been deemed to be one of the best file formats for this type of file transfer.
